Luis feel on music

Hey, my name is Luis and i am a Student athlete at Converse university and i am planning on majoring in business administration. I am from Laurens and a little bit about me is i like to run, bike, play basketball and basically anything outdoors. i dont know much about music but i once took chorus classes back in middle school but i never sang. i just stood there and held flags or something else that had nothing to do with singing. the reason i am taking this class is because i need it for my GEP classes. 

1.  (Si no te huberias ido, By Marco antonio solis)

Marco antonio solis is definitly one of my favortie artist becasue of his romance like music and is very popular in my cutlure side. Si no te huberias ido, is my favorite song so far becasue he is explaining in the song of how he was really heartbroken after a break up that he had. the vibe and with what he was saying just blows me away and makes the song very good. Growing up this was the artist most played in my home and i liked it but enough to listen to it till now because i can understand it and this song was the very first song i played when u first started listening to him. 


2. (stronger, kanye west) 

kanye is another one of my favorite artist to listen to. this song is a personal song because i listen to it as my motivation most of the time. i remember before a race back in high school i listened to this song and it boosted my confidence and i performed really good. ever since that i always remember to listen to it during my warm up of a race. most people know this song, if you haven't listened to it i highly recommend you do!


3. (soldier joy-claw hammer banjo)

 i dont know this song because i dont like it so obviously i am not going to know it but this is my example of a song i dont like. there just something about this music that does not attract my attention. its like country i think and i dont like country music at all but i know this is folk music with a fast rhythm. another reason i dont like it is because i had a class back in high school that the teacher would play this kind of music and i just did not like the class, the music just made it worse. if you like this music, dont get your feelings hurt its just my opinion.

    I loved reading about Marco Antonio solis. I have never heard of him, but I liked listening to his song. However, I am gonna have to disagree about Kanye. I am not a fan of him. He is a good musician, but I don't like his character. It is cool that you have a story behind why you like your specific songs.

    Hi! I really love the "Stronger" song you shared. I love how it repeats the words “harder, better, faster, stronger” in an electronic voice. I will definitely be adding it to my motivational playlist. I also listen to songs like that before my performances and in everyday life.

 for my first big blog my genre of music that i will be talking about is Hip Hop. Hip Hop was created back in the 1970s born in new York by Bronx. it was organically influenced by African american dancing and was becoming very popular all over the world. hip hops definition from the US is that its "a style of popular music of US black and Hispanic origin, featuring rap with an electronic backing".
